According to a new report from pricegrabber.com, the growing popularity of Web-enabled phones in the United States has helped online shoppers become clients of mobile Internet. One in every ten online consumers said they buy online from your mobile device, compare prices and 16%/product specification details for research from other 16%. Consumers shopping online from their mobile phones, 58% have purchased digital content for your phone, 51% bought consumer electronics, 37% bought computers purchased books, 36% and 31% purchased clothing.
Smartphone and iPhone owners are comfortable using the mobile Internet for shopping.56% of owners of Apple iPhone and 28% of Smartphone owners are already comparing prices online with their mobile phones. Furthermore, 27% of iPhone owners and 35 percent of smartphone owners anticipate they comparing prices within two years.

The report is based on a survey of online consumers of 3305 us with mobile phones, which was held 10-March 31, 2009.
