1 million sold G1 Android-based

According to FierceWireless, T-Mobile USA has sold more than 1 million of their devices based on Android G1 for the past six months.

The figure was apparently "buried" in earnings report from Deutsche Telekom. According to the report of the German carrier, G1 responds by two-thirds of the total sales of 3 g handset from t-Mobile USA so far.

Initial sales of G1 are certainly much smaller in comparison with the Apple iPhone. Apple sold about 3.7 million iPhones during the two full quarters after the release of the device in summer 2007. remember, however, that the T-Mobile USA has less than half the number of subscribers who do not AT&T so on base on, you're doing OK.

iPhone Game Review-iZombie Death March

The staff of the Sonic Boom recently released its latest iPhone game-iZombie: Death March

I downloaded the game last night and had a great time killing lots and lots of zombies. The game is very straight forward – you play as a lone gunman surrounded by zombies that come at you from all angles. simply touch the screen where you want to shoot and "pow!"Zombies goes down.

There are 6 missions or chapters of your choice:

1. White point
2. guardian
3. Bunker
4. Cemetery
5. Runaway
6. extraction

And in each chapter, you can choose between four different levels of difficulty: easy, normal, death wish or nightmare. How to indicate descriptions, chapters Gets increasingly difficult.

I played all the 6 chapters and mixed in varying levels of difficulty. my personal favorite is Runaway (photographed) that is on the back of a pick-up truck projection down Zombies to try to drive away from some monster mad is chasing the motorway.

The game is also made more interesting with the clever plot that is displayed between the chapters. There are some great quotes here, including my favorite:

"Time flies when you have a gun".

There must be something strange happening in space between zombie because this game and new PC from PopCap game "Plants vs. zombies" I've been spending too much time killing zombies, but boy, it's fun.

SonicBoom is offering iZombie Death March for an introductory price of $ 1.99 through iTunes. the game is very well done and is a fun diversion for 5 minutes or more. Highly recommend downloading this title and don't be surprised if you find yourself groaning BRAAAAAAINS!!every now and again after you play it.

EA and report of Glu Mobile Sales Game results

Two of the biggest mobile games developers in the world, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) and Glu Mobile (NASDAQ: GLUU) announced quarterly results this week.

While EA global business continues to fight, mobile was one bright spot with the communications company that their mobile revenue grew 24% year over year to $ 189 million. The fiscal fourth quarter, EA Mobile recorded $ 48 million in revenue, up 14% year on year.

Glu reported revenues of $ 20.8 million compared to $ 20.6 million in the first quarter of 2008, which represents less than one year increased by 1% over the year.

If I were a shareholder Glu would be quite disappointed with the results of Glu. Although EA is a large company, the mobile games business is growing rapidly (see post soon) and Glu should be growing at a pace similar to EA.

If you read the full press release from Glu and if you're following the company last year, a lot of their lack of growth is due to the fact that Glu was very late to the party iPhone. they started to ramp up lately with a number of high-quality releases on this platform, including the title of Glyder very fun, but of course I still have much work to do to start your business to take off more.

EA, on the other hand, was early for the iPhone a their games have done very well. Just in recent weeks pair, EA announced five new titles of iPhone and executives said they expect the introduction of 30 games for the iPhone this year.

iPhone Game Review-Parachute Panic

I was poking around the iTunes AppStore this week and had a chance to $. 99 in a recently released game of FDG Entertainment called parachute panic.

In this fun casual game requires land successfully a number of Parachute in passing boats while trying to avoid obstacles such as helicopters, u.f.o ´ s, sharks and clouds of Thunder.

The game is reminiscent of vintage that Nintendo Game & Watch handheld parachute game that I used to love to play again in the early 1980s.

The game possesses very cool hand drawn graphics, smooth animations, captivating music and impressive sound effects. The game was getting good reviews in the app store and I have to agree-is very well done and a lot of fun.

Check out a video of the game here.

The only slightly negative comment that I will make is that this game is not easy. takes a while to get used to the controls and even once you master the techniques, the action picks up fast and furious. my interest 7 year old lost very quickly as it was very difficult, but personally, I love the game and for a dollar is well worth it. iPhone Game Review-Bed Bugs

My wife and I have iPhones and this weekend she was mentioning that she still has to find a game that she "just likes to play". Now, to be fair, she doesn't have much time to browse through thousands of games on the app store, but I have found very few who she likes, just no she is addicted too.

Well, I may have found this a night in Bed Bugs. Developed by Igloo Games Bed Bugs is highly addictive and great fun.You play the role of a sleepwalker who climbs out of bed and is bombarded by all different types of Bed Bugs that are doing their best to wake you. at each level (I did this to 9) is introduced a new bug bed and each of them has to be treated differently.

Some who cannot play. others you have to touch several times and at the latest level, some you play once, but it is better not to touch them again.

The game starts very easy, but gets progressively harder as the new Bed Bugs is presented and you have to keep your fingers moving to keep your Sleepwalker asleep.

This is a game that is just perfect for the iPhone and iPod touch and everything about the game is extremely well done: the sound, graphics, controls, and the concept of the game are fantastic.

This is the second iPhone game of igloo. Dizzy Bee was the first and although I personally not played it, he got tremendous reviews so it's no surprise that these guys have struck again with Bed Bugs.

This is a game for all ages and I'm excited to show my children a gift as well. He is currently selling for $ 1.99 on iTunes and I highly recommend downloading it now.

The inductive charger Energizer

Some of you may remember how, reported that the inductive charger Energizer conforms to a standard IQ, and I had the opportunity to experience the drive for me.

Is very similar with the powermat wireless Chargers or Duracell Wildcharger, how can you put mobile devices with specially made "sleeves" that are good to upload them. once it is enabled for Qi, this means that you can reach a day when mobile devices are equipped with special work inside that will allow recovery without special glove.

It's a pity the inductive charger only has sleeves for iPhone 3 g/3gs and the BlackBerry Curve 8900. I'm sure there's more to come, but what differentiates the Energizer is a USB port available. It is a pity that has no such thing as closing magnetic the powermat.

You can grab the inductive charger Energizer for $ 89. If you want some extra juice anywhere, don't forget that the block Energi To Go Portable Power.

Hardware upgrade for Rogers? 30 Months.

Published on 20 October 2010. Tags: 30 months, principle of updating, upgrading computers, upgrade hardware, ridiculous, Rogers

Android Beejive014 Hardware Upgrade for Rogers? After 30 months only.

The large red Canadian company now called Rogers Wireless is forcing customers to wait 30 months until you are allowed to upgrade hardware. New Canadian customers are obliged to sign a contract of 3 years with Rogers for the same prices phone, if not, more then what customers AT & t down South pay for, and "just" need to sign a 2 year contract. In addition, Rogers plans are incredibly expensive when it comes to plans down South, even compared with Mobile WIND, but only unaffordable for the majority of Canadians. AT & T customers are eligible for an upgrade hardware nearly every year (depending on the phone), but the Rogers… 30 month! Is ridiculous…We, the people towards the North, do not approve this.

Samsung Galaxy Player announcement causes an iPod touch killer

I think we all know how Samsung is trying to delve into territory iPad with Galaxy Guide, and it seems to me that the Player Galaxy is seriously exclusion from territory of iPod Touch.

You can see the video all features of this Android Media Player 2.1, including a 2 megapixel camera, microSD slot, FM radio, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.2 inch screen, DivX support, as well as 8 GB or 16 GB of memory.

I am very surprised that the Player Galaxy not came to the United States yet. There is still no word on when this will happen, but if you're in Europe, you can get it for 200 euros.

Reckless Racing iPhone racing game

This is Reckless Racing, and I'm guessing that is one of several racing games available for the iPhone, like 3D Dirt Bike racing.

This is quite amazing how graphics are as my source of flame "just shy of photo-realistic".You can see the steering wheel and throttling controls and the user can also use the accelerometer, if he or she desired. in short, it seems quite a fantastic game harkening back to old school arcades.

Reckless Racing is available on iPhone and iPod for $ 2.99, as well as the iPad per $ 4.99. There is also a version Android as well.

Samsung Galaxy guide comes to T-Mobile on November 10th?

If you have been paying attention, you will know what to speak of Samsung Galaxy Tab has been running rampant. Many believe this slate tablet 2.2 powered Android will be the one to finally give Apple iPad much needed a run for their money. This device features a 7 inch touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and front/rear facing cameras. These features, along with the Android mobile operating system from Google are what many say that will give the aba Galaxy what he needs to succeed.

Anyway, while we have heard so much hardware Galaxy Guide still haven't heard much about its North American release. From now, we have to go that rumors say the device will launch on t-mobile sometime in the near future to $ 399 with a 2 year contract. Unfortunately, when exactly it will launch we have no idea.

However, today, a new leak appeared that says that t-Mobile will actually have the Samsung Galaxy guide on 10 November for a price point is indecisive. whereas it is just a leak, wouldn't consider this very concrete still until someone officially involved with the subject comes forth to talk more. we'll keep you posted.

Swype Keyboard

An alternative to the Android virtual keyboard, the Swype virtual keyboard allows you to input text by swiping the finger with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard. Based on testing, speed and accuracy are equal to or better than the traditional keyboard-tapping method. You can activate the Swype keyboard by pressing and holding in a text field, wait for popup to appear, click Input Method, and then select Swype.

In the image to the left, the word "quick" was generated from tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. A key advantage to Swype is that there is no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry.

Tune Belt Sport Armband for HTC EVO 4G, Droid Incredible & more (fits larger smartphones and iPhones in protective cases like iPhone 4 in Bumper case)This lightweight and comfortable armband was designed for larger smartphones and/or protective cases 4.51 - 5 inches long such as HTC EVO 4G, Droid Incredible and Droid X. It also fits iPhone 3GS inside Otterbox Defender case and iPhone 4 inside Bumper case. Many other smartphones also fit - see partial list below. It really is the ultimate sports armband providing unmatched comfort, convenience and protection while you run, workout or listen on the go.

Other features include: the flexibility of holding most devices right side up, or upside down to read the screen easier when viewed on the arm; a clear, protective window cover with full navigational control; and a cord flap to securely store and manage the earphone cord.

The armband is washable, includes a reflective logo and adjusts from 9" to 17". For larger arm sizes, an Armband Extender is available. See model EX3 which increases the maximum arm size by about 6.5 inches.
