A larger consumers have complaints with the Android platform is the fact that it is so hard to keep up to date. Of course, this is not the fault of the consumer, but rather real hardware manufacturers which delayed continuously the latest builds of Android. A case of this is the infamous S of galaxies that, here in the United States, has yet to receive the latest update, Android ' Froyo ' 2. 2.
This is quickly becoming a problem especially since bread ' Android ' 2. 3 is already making its market. Fortunately, those of you with an s Galaxy of Virgin Mobile or SaskTel will be happy to know that they are now pushing out the update. News comes to us Canadian Twitter account from Samsung that says Virgin Mobile and SaskTel will join Bell as official update Froyo providers.
This is great news for our northern neighbors but what about us here in the United States? It's pretty ridiculous that a device so popular as the Galaxy S has still receive the update. What gives?
