Windows Phone 7 Microsoft announces first wave of Windows Phone 7 handsets

Microsoft held a conference press this morning to announce nine new Windows 7 phone phones. Microsoft has prepared a variety of mobile phones from LG, HTC, Samsung, Dell. The company has also made alliances with more than 60 companies in over 30 countries, providing a large number of consumer phones.Many of these phones will be available during the holiday season in 2010 with more of them arriving in 2011. hit the jump to see the list of phones which will be available in 2010.

LTE Rogers announces first LTE technical trial in Canada

Samsung announces first Android device


Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world, today released the I7500, its first Android-powered mobile phone. With the release, the Samsung becomes the first company among manufacturers of cellular three top global to unveil an Android-powered phone.

"Samsung is among the first members of the Open Handset Alliance and has been actively forward to introduce the most innovative Android mobile phone," said JK Shin, Executive Vice President and head of Mobile communication Division in Samsung Electronics. The I7500, a touch screen smartphone offers a 5 megapixel camera and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, which provides users with access to all Google services.

Samsung said that the phone would be available in major European countries in June. no word on prices.
